The Osiliana Archaeological Database presents artefacts from Saaremaa and the surrounding small islands.
The database contains mainly Iron Age and Medieval finds that can be classified.
Undated metal or other pieces were generally excluded from the database.
Ceramics are represented by isolated examples.
The database is a work in progress and is constantly being updated.

Chain fragments, 4, iron. A similar chain with 8-shaped links was found from Käku grave site (Mägi 2002, Pl. 14: 4) in Saaremaa. These chains have also been found in Salaspils Laukskola cemetery in Latvia where they occurred in mainly men´s graves dated to the 11th–13th centuries (Zarina 2006, 275–276).
