Guide for archaeological database

Most of Saaremaa’s archaeological finds are held in the collection of the Saaremaa Museum and in the Tallinn University Research Collection.

 

You can search this database:

  • in the main search field by keywords or find numbers
    • for example “ring” or “SM 10963:12”
  • in the search field “All categories” by object type
    • for example “brooch” – “penannular brooch” – “penannular brooch with faceted terminal”
  • in the search field  “All locations” by locations
    • for example “Mullutu”
  • by date
  • for example “10. century – 12. century”
